A Hidden Gem!
A truly superb stay in a very special part of New Zealand. The owners have gone to incredible lengths taking care of every detail to ensure a very comfortable stay in a stunningly private location. Lush native bush surrounds the property ensuring complete privacy with spectacular views towards Farewell Spit & surrounding farmland. There is so much to do in the area we can't wait to return. We can only describe this property as a 'pot of gold' at the end of a rainbow - you will most certainly not be disappointed. A very difficult place to leave!
A gorgeous place to stay !
A truly wonderful place to stay in amazing surrounds. The location is really private, set in a wonderful bush setting, with amazing views out to Farewell Spit. It was wonderful waking up to the lovely bird sounds, and the sun streaming into the living area. We loved the personal touches for guests when we arrived. There was wine, chocolate, coffee, crisps and muesli as a welcome gift. There was also a lovely selection of herbal teas. The house was super cosy and so lovely to stay at. We made great use of the fire, as we stayed for a week over winter. We couldn't have asked for anything more - the ability to relax by the fire and enjoy the amazing surroundings - it made for an extremely relaxing holiday. We thoroughly recommend staying here - and cant wait to return.
We loved our time here! The location is ideal - quiet, tranquil, and so close to Puponga Farm and Farewell Spit. The property is beautiful, and the owners put a great deal of time and care into making us feel welcome. There are wonderful walking paths and a beautiful deck for outdoor dining. We felt very lucky to be able to spend a few days here, wished we had stayed longer, and would happily return.
