This place is truly special! Sharyn is such an amazing host and left some thoughtful supplies to get us started. Great location to relax away from the hustle and bustle and also close enough to Nelson to explore if you want to. Super spacious, sparkling clean and fresh, lots of time spent relaxing and swimming by the stunning pool. We hope to return next year!
We loved staying at the Hangar. Sharyn was an outstanding host, attentive and warm with lovely thoughtful touches. The home was beautifully styled and a relaxing space perfect for socialising with great indoor-outdoor flow. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and hope to be back another time :)

About your host, Sharyn
Your hosts Sharyn and Steve have always been surrounded by aviation and hospitality and are passionate about both. Sharyn comes from an aviation and customer services background with a little bit of cheffing on the side. Steve is a helicopter pilot, diesel mechanic and has been involved in all of the improvements you will see at The Hangar (aka 112 The Hangar)
We love people and aviation, The Hangar is our home and we love sharing it and seeing our guests making it their own during their stay.
