Fancy getting away for rest and relaxation in a uniquely designed retreat. Perfect for couples or friends wanting to reconnect. Imagine waking to the song of Tuis, having a delicious breakfast cooked for you, sitting in front of the log fire with a cuppa and a good book or play a game of chess, take time to reconnect with your partner without the distractions of the outside world or stroll in the garden.

You can expect afternoon tea on arrival with delicious home baking, a late checkout, 12 pm, perfect for Sunday morning sleep in.

If you do not want to venture into the city to have dinner then you can order food from either take away or restaurants and no need to drive, we will pick it up for you.

Breakfast of home made muesli, fresh fruit salad, orange juice, coffee or tea, toast, jams and a hot dish of the day e.g. Creamy scrambled eggs on ciabatta with smoked salmon. A hot dish of the day ensures that no breakfast will be the same.

We have a large vegetable garden where we grow produce used in our baking and breakfasts and chickens who produce the delicious eggs.

Relax and put up your feet in a truly peaceful location to unwind and rejuvenate the soul. You can take in the views of Lake Rotorua, walk through the beautiful gardens and even feed the donkeys! We love to encourage you to dine in Rotorua with its diverse range of eateries or enjoy a true Kiwi delicacy; the “takeaway” under the stars at our outdoor dining area. Pour a wine, sit back and enjoy the lights of Rotorua in the distance and spot the Southern Cross and Milky Way.

You retreat the moment you turn into our driveway and wind your way up the hill to our home with the best panoramic views. You are surrounded by country side yet only a 5 minute drive to the local village of Ngongotaha and 15 minutes to Rotorua City.

We want you to experience our spacious open plan home and garden with many spaces available to take a moment from your busy schedule. There are tea and coffee facilities available in the kitchen, however there are no cooking facilities.

Offering peace and tranquility just for you in a uniquely designed home. Our home is tastefully styled so no room is the same nestled in ten acres of idyllic country setting, with many charming features. When you check in you are offered afternoon tea with delicious home baking. Breakfasts are full of local fresh produce and homemade jams, muesli, yoghurt, and seasonal fruit as well as a hot cooked dish of the day.

This room features a king size bed with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with it's own private outdoor patio to soak up the sun and the sound of the birds
